Simulation-based Education Starts Here

Jump has been home to hundreds of different types of simulation events that have made a positive impact on health care delivery. We are frequently asked how these simulations and educational opportunities come about, as well as the source of our content. Clinician educators from all professions and disciplines provide us with curriculum to address critical programmatic and clinical needs using simulation-based education.

Jump Simulation utilizes a centralized curriculum intake process to ensure consistent quality and execution of events. The curricula submitted are reviewed, using a rating matrix, on their potential to positively impact clinical outcomes for OSF HealthCare and training for our integrated educational institutions. The highest-rated curricula are then evaluated for return on investment through data trend analysis, formal research studies and other cost savings measurement methodologies. Additionally, we assess if we can differentiate the impact of the education we provide through fair market value assessments of the training program. In this way, we engage all educators in the achievement of the Vision of Jump Sim.
