Adam Cross (MD, FAAP) is a board-certified pediatrician, board-eligible pediatric hospitalist and board-eligible clinical informaticist who has recently been appointed as the leader of the Children’s Innovation Lab at the Jump Trading Simulation & Education Center as part of OSF Innovation.
Though an Illinois native, Dr. Cross has spent the past four years providing care to underserved populations in New Mexico and Arizona including indigenous populations, refugees and immigrants. In 2017, he received an American Academy of Pediatrics Community Access to Child Health (CATCH) grant to create a community-sourced, multilingual resource guide and video series for New Mexico’s three largest refugee demographics.
Dr. Cross also served as one of the state’s primary ethicists and assisted in drafting legislation on fair and just allocation of critical care resources during the COVID-19 pandemic.
He has a passion for improving outcomes and reducing disparities in pediatric health care through technological innovation, medical education and infrastructure optimization.
