Dr. William Bond is the Director of Simulation Research at Jump and is instrumental in shaping the research agenda. Dr. Bond is committed to many areas of patient safety, improving health care for professionals and supporting the structure of the work surrounding simulation at Jump.
Dr. Bond was previously Medical Director for Education Technology in the Division of Education at Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), a role that included direction of the LVHN Interdisciplinary Simulation Center (LVHNISC). He also served as Designated Institutional Official (DIO) and Chair of the Graduate Medical Education Committee (GMEC) for LVHN.
Within the field of simulation, Dr. Bond has developed areas of expertise including patient safety and cognitive error. Dr. Bond has created, produced, or facilitated various lectures, workshops, and courses. He currently serves as the Chair of the Jump Research Committee, Chair of the SAEM Simulation Academy, and is a member of the ACEP Education Committee, Simulation Subcommittee.
